"I wrote these random sentences for the next generation so they know we were not just emotional and under peer pressure. So they know that we did everything we could to create a better future for them. So they know that our ancestors surrendered to Arabs and Mongols but did not surrender to despotism. This note is dedicated to tomorrow’s children…” 2009 unknown Iranian blogger described by one as someone with "more courage as you will ever know." (the entire post from this blogger will be posted at the bottom of this blog.
I was reminded of this time in history, recently (more on that later). With the frosty relationship between the Obama administration and Israel (and the recent actions by "high government" officials within the administration). One has to wonder if the current "leader" of the "free world." has any interest in hearing the oppressed calls for help. Sadly, the Iranian people learned this disheartening lesson 3 years ago as their brutal, theocratic leaders begin their lethal crackdown."We need an Obama who can find solutions for Iran’s problems." pleaded one blogger. The silence was deafining. Obama's response turned out to be nothing more than empty words as he turned his back on the cries from freedom hungry people.
Obama and his administration have shown their disdain for a free people this week. Not only has he turned his back on a freedom loving, who just so happen to be our allies, but he his thrust a dagger in their back.

The leaking of sensitive information in regards to Israel's newly established relationship with Azerbaijan and the subsequent plans to attack Iran's nuclear sites, from an airstrip located in the latter's country was a major blow to a loyal and close friend. From Israel's perspective they must look at the Obama administration as hostile to their country and its' effort to defend itself from a nuclear holocaust courtesy of the tyrannical state-Iran. (It has, also, been speculated that Israel would have been able to take out much of the ruthless dictating mullah's.- so the Iranian people get screwed again)
Oh did I mention the same administration just sent taxpayer money to none other than the Muslim Brotherhood.

The horrific behavior of this administration is deplorable at best, but more importantly, it raises a chilling question What is it about freedom that has this administration so hell bent in suppressing, or in the people of Iran's case, destroying all hopes of even tasting it?
With the constant and evident power grab seen by this administration, we as a country may be repeating the phrase of an Iranian's desperate blog.

"Where is this place that we the innocents are stuck in [imprisoned]?
Where is this place that no one can help us?
where is this place that we are only shouting out our words with silence?
Where is this place that the youth are killed and people stand in the street and pray?
They stand in the blood and pray.
Where is this place that people are called [vagrants] trouble makers?
Where is this place?
Do you want me to tell you?"
If we fail to act, we may be "the place."

As promised the complete post of the blog used in the introduction.

“I will participate in the demonstrations tomorrow. Maybe they will turn violent. Maybe I will be one of the people who is going to get killed. I’m listening to all my favorite music. I even want to dance to a few songs. I always wanted to have very narrow eyebrows. Yes, maybe I will go to the salon before I go tomorrow! There are a few great movie scenes that I also have to see. I should drop by the library, too. It’s worth to read the poems of Forough and Shamloo again. All family pictures have to be reviewed, too. I have to call my friends as well to say goodbye. All I have are two bookshelves which I told my family who should receive them. I’m two units away from getting my bachelors degree but who cares about that. My mind is very chaotic. I wrote these random sentences for the next generation so they know we were not just emotional and under peer pressure. So they know that we did everything we could to create a better future for them. So they know that our ancestors surrendered to Arabs and Mongols but did not surrender to despotism. This note is dedicated to tomorrow’s children…”
